Testimonials

In Their Own Words

"Going abroad was the best decision I have ever made! I would love to say thank you to my mom for being my support system, encouraging me to go across the entire world, and always being there for me no matter what time it was in America .This experience gave me life-long friends, experiences and memories that I will forever cherish. That being said, my experience made me very aware of international affairs, and cultural differences within other countries." - Alexis Calcavecchia, Journalism Major
"As my journey in Australia is coming to an end, I'm realizing its nothing like I imagined, its better. The experience of going to a different school in a different country changes you. It forces you to be brave and gets you outside of your comfort zone, and that's something I am grateful for. Waking up everyday is a new adventure. From sky-diving to scuba-diving in the Great Barrier Reef, exploring first hand taught me the most. The Australians along with the international students I have met along the way have made such an impact on me, showing me their different values and cultures. The best months of my life happened here, I am beyond grateful for this opportunity and I hope every one gets a chance to study abroad." - Victoria Ferraro, Psychology Major. Check out this video of Victoria's adventures in Australia!
"Studying abroad is something I will never forget, thanks to the people that helped me get there. From my family to the amazing Education Abroad staff at UAlbany, their support paved the way for me to make the most of my time. Australia was such an incredible place, with countless excursion opportunities. The friendships I made abroad are ones I will cherish for the rest of my life." - Brandon Alina, Human Biology Major
